DMCA Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Note: This page is a general template describing a standard DMCA notice-and-takedown process. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer for any specific jurisdiction. Independent legal review is recommended, along with registering a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office.
IPTV Roku helps viewers get IPTV running on their Roku devices. We respect copyright, and this page explains how rights holders can report material they believe infringes it.
Roku and the Roku Channel Store
IPTV Roku is not affiliated with Roku, Inc. We do not run the Roku Channel Store or publish channels in it. Concerns about a channel listed there should go to Roku or that channel's publisher; this policy covers only IPTV Roku and this website.
Required information
Incomplete notices slow everything down, because we have to come back and ask for what is missing. A complete notice includes:
- Your contact details — name, address, phone, and email
- The copyrighted work at issue, described clearly enough to identify it
- The specific material you want removed or disabled, and where it can be found
- A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own the right or are authorized to act for the owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
Notices missing one or more of these elements may not be treated as valid under the DMCA.
How to reach our copyright contact
Email is the fastest route: support@iptvroku.net. Please put "DMCA Takedown" in the subject and include the full notice in the body of the email rather than only as an attachment, so nothing is missed.
How we handle notices
- We confirm receipt and check the notice is complete.
- We locate the material you identified.
- If the notice is valid, the material is removed or access to it is disabled.
- Where appropriate, we inform the account holder concerned and explain how to file a counter-notice.
Counter-notices
A counter-notice is the formal way to challenge a takedown. It must identify the removed material and where it was, include your contact details and signature, state under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the removal was a mistake or misidentification, and include your consent to federal court jurisdiction and to accept service from the complainant.
We send a copy to the original complainant. If no court action is reported to us within 10 business days, the material may be put back within 10 to 14 business days.
Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that it was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, consider getting legal advice before sending a notice.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances, we terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
Updates
This policy may change as the law or our service changes; check the date at the top of the page for the most recent version.
